Clearfield Recruitment are working on behalf of our client to source a capable and proactive Site Manager for the installation and completion of a prefabricated residential unit in Sudbury, Suffolk. This is a 7-week contract, starting on Monday 30th June 2025.
Project Overview: Groundworks have already been completed. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the site from the day the prefabricated building arrives through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Coordination: Take full control of the site from day one. Coordinate all on-site activities and manage the build schedule.
- Trade Management: Supervise and coordinate all subcontractors (e.g. electricians, plumbers, fitters). Ensure smooth workflow and adherence to the programme.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct site inductions for all operatives. Enforce Health & Safety standards and ensure full compliance at all times.
- Main Point of Contact: Act as the primary site representative. Liaise with subcontractors and communicate all issues back to the project team.
- Communication & Reporting: Take instruction from the project lead. Report progress, risks, and delays in a timely manner.
- Problem Solving: Resolve day-to-day issues effectively. Maintain momentum on site without compromising quality or safety.

- SMSTS - Essential
- Proven experience managing similar residential or prefabricated projects
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- First Aid qualification
- Must be available from Monday 30th June 2025 for the full 7-week duration
