Our client, a well established contractor within the restoration sector, are seeking an experienced Buyer / Office Admin to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Role/Main Responsibilities:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (Negotiable – minimum 40 Hours week).
- Answering office phone – Sorting received post - General Day to Day Enquiries.
- Ordering materials for Site - Raising Purchase orders on Eque2 and chasing delivery of materials.
- Matching statements on Eque2 – arranging invoices for Payment.
- Managing Skip Exchanges and Plant Hire.
- General office duties – Ensuring Form packs are filled – Ensuring Printer has ink – ordering Stationery.
- Arranging Van servicing and MOT’s (Including Checking Van Check sheets filled in by Site Operatives).
- Manage new start packs for Operatives – Booking Training Courses – Arranging CSCS cards.
- Manage Training matrix and ensure operatives training up to date.
- Update Chas/Smas/Construction line (Annually).
- General Housekeeping in the office (Shared responsibility with rest of office).
Essential:
- Industry related experience.
- Experience ordering cost effective materials from relevant suppliers.
- Experience in Eque2.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word – Excel – Outlook – Planner.
- Confident on the phone.
- Confident delegating and managing tasks through to finish.
