I am working with a Global leader in banking and financial services, on a new VP level hire within their Interest Rates business.
Your Role
As a key member of the Trade Validation Team, you will play strategic role in ensuring the accurate representation of exotic rates derivatives trades, maintaining a robust control framework, and driving operational efficiency. You will also lead global initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate with stakeholders across sales, trading, and operational functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing the Global Interest Rates Trade Validation business to identify improvements and efficiencies, while working with Regional Heads to implement them
- Process Improvements: Design and implement enhancements for process efficiency, automation, and risk reduction.
- Global Leadership: Oversee global production activities, coordinate with SMEs, and represent Operations in strategic projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to defining the target operating model.
- Represent Operations within projects, facing off to the rest of the business
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with exotic rates derivatives, control functions, and front-to-back (F2B) processes within a large investment bank.
- Leadership: Strong people management skills with a focus on mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

- Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing transformation, migration, and operational efficiency projects.
