Fragrance Lab Technician

Assisting the Perfumer Analyst and Evaluator, you will be responsible for:

  • Blending fragrances following perfumer formulations
  • Compounding raw materials according to specification
  • Adding fragrance oil into customer bases for stability and evaluation sensory testing
  • Using a range of scientific equipment and machinery
  • Following strict health and safety guidelines
  • Supporting the day-to-day activities within the laboratory
  • Ensuring excellent housekeeping and keeping all lab workstations clean and tidy

WORKING HOURS PER WEEK: 8am – 4pm, 5 days per week

Required Skills:

  • Minimum grade 4 GCSE pass in maths, English and science
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document and record the progress of projects
  • Excel and Word experience to intermediate level
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to learn new skills and support colleagues
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a team and as an individual

Required Qualities:

  • Good time management
