Fragrance Lab Technician
Assisting the Perfumer Analyst and Evaluator, you will be responsible for:
- Blending fragrances following perfumer formulations
- Compounding raw materials according to specification
- Adding fragrance oil into customer bases for stability and evaluation sensory testing
- Using a range of scientific equipment and machinery
- Following strict health and safety guidelines
- Supporting the day-to-day activities within the laboratory
- Ensuring excellent housekeeping and keeping all lab workstations clean and tidy
WORKING HOURS PER WEEK: 8am – 4pm, 5 days per week
Required Skills:
- Minimum grade 4 GCSE pass in maths, English and science
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document and record the progress of projects
- Excel and Word experience to intermediate level
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills and support colleagues
- Good organisation skills and the ability to work on own initiative
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a team and as an individual
