DUTIES:

  • Create 3D character animation.
  • Work closely with the project leads to match styles.
  • Liaise with other teams in particular Artists and Game Designers.
  • Work within specifications of the project and technology.
  • Work quickly through animation lists while keeping quality levels to a high standard.

Based in the midlands, my client is a fast-growing gaming developer working on exciting projects with a long-term pipeline of work to fuel further growth of the business and your career.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical knowledge of Maya.
  • Strong knowledge and experience developing animations.
  • Previous employment as an Animator.
  • Ideally previous experience working on Character animation but not essential. Other fields such as vehicle animation may also be considered.
  • Ability to give characters unique personalities and emotions through animation.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Previous employment with gaming developers, gaming publishers or within film/motion picture animation production.
  • High levels of communication skills.
  • Relevant industry qualification (Degree/Diploma etc).
