Our client works within the construction industry and is a leading construction business. They are looking to add a part-time Marketing Manager to their team. The Role of Marketing Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced marketing manager for a part-time role to create, develop and execute the marketing plan for the company effectively and in line with budget. Responsibilities include:
- Refining positioning, identifying target customers/partners/authorities, and developing individual marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
- Leading the execution of marketing programmes and events from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
- Maintaining digital channels and developing a targeted communications programme to help build customer relationships and support the sales process.
- Working closely with the sales team to improve the efficiency of the sales funnel.
- Defining and managing the marketing budget.
- Managing the creation and execution of day-to-day email and social media campaigns.
- Creating, maintaining, and conducting analytics reporting across multiple platforms to identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies.
- Directing and developing engaging thought leadership content as part of the marketing and sales cycle.
- Identifying and capitalising on appropriate PR opportunities.
- Managing attendance at exhibitions and trade shows including stand design and build.
- Creating promotional material, company literature, datasheets, case studies, and all digital assets.
- Updating and developing the company website, including managing and optimising SEO.
- Working with the pre-construction and estimating team to create templates to support the tender process.
- Managing and developing relationships with suppliers, freelancers, and external agencies where necessary.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company.
- Ensuring information is communicated effectively to your Manager.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years + B2B marketing experience.
- Construction marketing experience would be a bonus.
- Proven strategic and hands-on experience of brand and ABM marketing, with a track record of achieving revenue and brand growth.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent (desirable).
- Wordpress CMS (experienced).
- Mailchimp (or similar email platform) (experienced).
- Microsoft Office (experienced).
- Google Analytics (familiar).
- Creative marketing tools - InDesign, Canva (familiar).
- Trade show and event experience.
