The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle, from engineering design to construction and commissioning. Responsibilities include developing technical designs, supporting EPC contract development, overseeing construction processes, and managing key project milestones such as acceptance testing and achieving commercial operation dates. Experience with utility-scale project workflows and stakeholder coordination is essential. Key Responsibilities: Utilize industry-standard software to develop detailed technical designs from preliminary concepts. Optimize layouts and energy yields by iterating across different equipment and configurations. Design in accordance with industry codes and standards, incorporating feedback from relevant teams. Assist in preparing pre- and post-construction documentation. Lead and support technical due diligence, including engagement with Lenders’ Technical Advisors (LTAs). Serve as the technical lead for tender preparation and RFQ development and evaluation. Review and define contract technical requirements (e.g., PAC processes) and establish tracking mechanisms for compliance. Conduct on-site verification of installations and testing to ensure alignment with designs, regulations, standards, and procedures. Coordinate and evaluate pre-construction technical surveys. Manage relationships with Owner’s Engineers and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs). Qualifications: Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Experience in planning and executing utility-scale solar power projects. Proficiency in solar PV design software (PVSyst and PVCase) and a strong understanding of renewable energy systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system optimization skills.
