IKEA Nottingham is looking to hire a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly and hardworking Food & Beverage team.

We are seeking a proactive individual to help keep our kitchen clean, our dishes spotless, and our team happy. Due to health & safety regulations, applicants must be 18 years or older.

What We Offer

Start date of employment: 5th & 6th July
Competitive hourly rate of £12.60
12 hours weekly, working 3 days, including every Saturday
Working hours from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
Flexibility during the interview process to suit both your needs and our business
Employment contingent upon successful completion of a medical questionnaire

What You\’ll Need

Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be 18+ for health and safety compliance

Daily Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen, especially in the dishwasher area
Providing excellent customer service by working collaboratively
Following all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment
Supporting colleagues and fostering a positive team atmosphere
Manual handling and standing for extended periods
