About the Role
As our Volunteer and Community Champion, you’ll be the friendly face of our organisation in the community. You’ll support, motivate, and grow our network of volunteers, while also developing relationships with local groups, residents, and partners. Whether you’re organising events, helping new volunteers feel welcome, or promoting local initiatives, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welcoming, supporting, and retaining volunteers
- Building partnerships with local organisations and community groups
- Representing our organisation at events, meetings, and in the wider community
- Helping to plan and deliver community-led projects
- Encouraging inclusive participation and giving everyone a voice

- A people person who’s approachable, organised, and full of energy
- Experience working with volunteers or in a community setting (formal or informal)
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
