First People Solutions require an enthusiastic, dedicated Apprentice Payroll Administrator to join our established fast-paced team. This role is ideally suited to a logically minded candidate with volume administration and payroll experience. They should possess excellent reconciliation and organisational skills and be confident dealing directly with internal and external senior management. Throughout this job role you will gain hands-on experience in payroll processing while working towards a nationally recognized qualification. Key Tasks

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Maintain accurate employee records including timesheets, holiday entitlements, and absences
  • Support the reconciliation of payroll data and resolve discrepancies
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies
  • Learn to use payroll software and systems effectively
  • Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to support wider administrative tasks
