An excellent opportunity has become available for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a major facilities management contract covering a diverse portfolio of sites across Cambridgeshire, including retail banks, DEFRA locations, schools, and other government buildings. This role offers long-term stability, a competitive salary, planned overtime opportunities, and a company van for personal use.
The Role:
- Electrical testing and inspection (EICRs)
- Remedial works following fixed wire testing
- General electrical maintenance and fault finding
- 50/50 split of electrical and general building services work
- Completing compliance paperwork and reports
- On-call rota participation (1 in 10 weeks, £150 standby)
- Travelling between sites in the Cambridgeshire region
Key Requirements:
- C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection – Essential
- Level 3 Electrical Installation (C&G or NVQ)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Comfortable working independently and interacting with clients
- Able to pass BPSS clearance
