The Role:

This is a varied, hands-on role combining general bookkeeping and credit control responsibilities. The successful candidate will support the finance team day-to-day, with the opportunity to step into a more senior role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily bookkeeping and accounting duties using Sage
  • Chasing outstanding invoices and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Supporting job costing entries and processing timesheets
  • Assisting with payroll data and salary prep
  • Reconciling bank accounts, supplier ledgers, and credit card transactions
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Contributing to VAT returns and year-end preparation
  • Helping streamline and modernise current systems and processes

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping and credit control
  • Competent with Sage and solid understanding of accounting principles
