We are looking to speak with Site Managers available for a project based in Halifax, starting from 1st July 2025 and running for approximately 16 to 24 weeks. The role involves overseeing modifications to an existing renewable energy system, including Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP), and managing the installation of new dry air coolers to a large commercial property. It is a technically detailed and services-heavy project, so relevant experience in renewables, M&E-heavy builds, or similar environments will be key. You will be supporting a well-organised team and will act as the main liaison for site progress, reporting back to the Project Manager.
We are looking for someone with experience in:
- Overseeing installation of mechanical and electrical systems (preferably renewables)
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating specialist trades
- Liaising with external consultants and reporting to a remote Project Manager
- Working on commercial retrofit or upgrade projects with minimal disruption to the client
- Maintaining strict site H&S compliance and ensuring daily records are kept
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and services layouts
Preferred accreditations:
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Relevant CSCS
- IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred)
