Ridgeway & Co are working with a well-established groundworks and RC frame contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator for their West London head office. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and respected business with a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East. The role will focus on estimating complex groundwork and RC frame packages for a range of commercial and residential schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for groundwork and RC frame projects
- Manage take-offs, labour and plant calculations, and pricing schedules
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather quotes and technical input
- Support internal tender adjudication and bid submissions
- Work closely with commercial, pre-construction, and operational teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the groundworks and/or RC frame sector
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and estimating methodologies
- Proficient in estimating software and Excel
- Detail-focused, commercially minded, and deadline-driven
- Able to contribute to a collaborative team environment
