Duration : 1 Year (Can be extended annually) Hourly Rate : $65 β 75 / hour On-Site : Yes, 100% Participates in implementing the quality management system to ensure compliance with customer contracts, technical specifications, codes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements. Provides regular updates to the Quality Manager and Senior Leadership regarding the status of the Quality Management System and its implementation. Establishes working relationships as required by the quality management system to facilitate quality activities. Supports the selection of Quality Program Requirements for defined scopes of work. Assists with reviewing purchasing documents. Helps prepare detailed work plans, identifying manpower and equipment requirements for specific quality programs. Develops and participates in training programs to achieve full capability within corporate safety and business processes. Reviews the project schedule to ensure quality activities are properly scheduled. Reviews or assembles quality documents and coordinates with stakeholders. Communicates regularly with stakeholders regarding quality deliverables and participates in completion assurance activities, including vendor document review. Escalates issues or concerns promptly to ensure awareness of work status. Monitors field execution activities. Assists with generating, implementing, and closing actions related to problem identification and resolution. Participates in audits and supplier qualification and management processes. Performs other duties as required. Education Bachelorβs degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree is preferred but not mandatory. Post-secondary education in engineering, construction, or related discipline is desirable. At least two years of experience in a nuclear quality assurance role, understanding fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures. Certification as a Quality or Process Engineer, Six Sigma Belt, or equivalent is a valuable asset. Certification as an Auditor / Lead Auditor to a national scheme is desirable but not mandatory. Experience 5+ years of experience in field quality management roles on large, complex projects, with a focus on quality management preferred. Experience in civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines related to quality activities. Proven experience applying quality assurance and control processes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations phases. Qualifications Strong technical writing skills and proficiency with computer applications. Additional Skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of quality-related standards/codes such as CSA-N286, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ASME NQA-1, CSA-N299, CSA-B51, CSA A23, and relevant construction regulations.
