About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Engagement Manager with hands-on expertise in communication, engagement, and patient experience to support stakeholder engagement, strategic communication, and community outreach. This role plays a crucial part in building strong stakeholder relationships, facilitating public engagement initiatives, and ensuring the effective delivery of communication strategies within healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patient groups, healthcare providers, and local communities.
- Represent the organisation at community events, health fairs, and stakeholder meetings to promote healthcare initiatives.
- Collect and document patient stories, experiences, and feedback to inform service improvements.
- Support the planning and execution of public engagement events, collaborating with internal teams and partner organisations.
- Assist in the delivery of health campaigns, patient experience programs, and public health initiatives.
- Create content for social media, newsletters, internal briefings, and promotional materials.
- Support the development of educational materials, digital content, and public engagement strategies.
- Organise workshops, stakeholder meetings, and training sessions to raise awareness of key healthcare priorities.
Project Support & Coordination
- Maintain stakeholder databases and monitor engagement activities.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and performance tracking to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide administrative support, including event coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and data insights to share engagement outcomes with leadership teams.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of healthcare communication, patient engagement, or stakeholder outreach.
- Ability to plan and facilitate workshops, stakeholder forums, and community events.
- Proficiency in survey design, data analysis, and campaign impact reporting.
- Familiarity with public sector operations, healthcare frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborative experience working with internal teams, healthcare providers, and community organisations.
