Streamline Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic client based in Tilbury, who specialise in the Logistics sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Counter Balance FLT Driver to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong reputation in their industry, and a proven track record of investing in career progression for their team.
As the Forklift Driver, your main role will be to support the operations in ensuring goods in are received and stored correctly into locations, and goods out are loaded in efficient time for deliveries to be made to customers.
Key duties will include:
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move kegs and pallets of alcohol
- Load and unload deliveries from lorries and trailers
- Transport goods across the warehouse and yard, ensuring correct storage
- Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily targets and dispatch times
- Complete basic checks on forklift equipment and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all site H&S guidelines
