The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are currently looking for a social worker versed in child in care work, who can come on board to manage our placement with parents' young people, and to be allocated our looked after children on interim care orders whose final care plans are adoption or long-term fostering. The social worker will work alongside our court social worker to build relationships with the children's families and carers and ensure all the corporate parenting duties are underway.
Expectations include completing the CLA visiting, writing the CLA review reports, chairing the PEPS, and completing any activities linked to supporting the children's permanency planning. The worker will sit in the children in care service but have strong co-working arrangements with our family safeguarding teams.
We are looking for someone with 3 years post-qualifying experience who has strong corporate parenting experience.
Requirements as a Social Worker include:
- SWE Registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Drive and have access to a car
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
