The Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and pristine appearance of our hotel rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and dedication to creating a comfortable and pleasant guest experience will be essential to the hotel\’s success.

Responsibilities Include

• Ensure that all rooms are well-maintained, properly stocked, and ready for guest check-in
• Clean and sanitise guest rooms and bathrooms, changing linen, making beds, and replacing towels and amenities as needed
• Clean and maintain the cleanliness of hotel hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other public areas
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust as required, removing trash and maintaining trash bins in all public spaces
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate tasks
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment

Required Skills & Experience

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipment
