We are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our dayshift team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of vehicles on-site using our transport management system.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Book vehicles in and out of the site safely and efficiently following the transport management system and conformance to booking targets.
  • Ensure sufficient EOL vehicle availability from 3rd party hauliers to cover planned loads, checking continually against planned production and advising warehouse/logistics/hauliers of any issues.
  • Support the loading of tankers on site for offsite production.
  • Process Tesco customer orders daily, and liaise with the logistics team to ensure all orders can be fulfilled.
  • Update and issue End of Line report - highlighting any issues.

Requirements:

  • You must have experience in an administrative role within a transport or logistics environment.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
  • You must also be comfortable with Microsoft Office applications, and experience with transport management systems is preferred.

The role will be working 6.30 am - 6.45 pm on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. The salary is £29,708.08 per annum plus additional benefits as detailed.

Please note: due to our location and public transport service available around our shift times, you must be able to drive and have access to a car.
