Are you an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant (TA) looking for an opportunity to work in a rewarding environment with children who have special educational needs? ICTalent Recruitment is delighted to partner with an Outstanding Ofsted-rated special needs school based in Moseley, Birmingham. The school caters for both primary and secondary aged children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) and is looking to recruit a full-time Special Needs TA to start in September 2025. This position is offered on a temp to perm basis for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with SEN, hold at least a Level 2 qualification in supporting children or education, and have a passion for helping children thrive in a nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 2 or higher qualification in supporting children or education
  • Have previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Be patient, compassionate, and able to provide tailored support to children with diverse needs
  • Be able to work as part of a collaborative team, liaising with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Have strong communication skills and a proactive, adaptable approach to meeting individual needs
  • Be comfortable supporting both primary and secondary-aged children with various learning challenges
