We are currently seeking a highly driven and experienced HSEQ Manager to lead our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality function across all divisions of the business. This is a permanent, full time role based in Aberdeen. This role is key to setting strategic direction, creating operational plans, and ensuring effective implementation of our HSEQ frameworks, while supporting our commitment to excellence and alignment with our Core Values.
As HSEQ Manager, you will provide functional leadership and technical support across the organisation, acting as the management representative responsible for the implementation, performance, and continuous improvement of our Business Management System (BMS). You will play a central role in maintaining our required accreditations and ensuring that all HSEQ policies, procedures and systems meet or exceed legal, regulatory, and client standards. You will work closely with senior management and operational teams to drive a culture of ownership and accountability for HSEQ performance. This includes developing strategies for continuous improvement, managing business risks, leading audits and inspections, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and acted upon.
You will also oversee engagement with industry and regulatory bodies, and ensure alignment between our internal teams and external partners or subcontractors when it comes to HSEQ expectations. Additionally, you will lead a dedicated team providing HSEQ and Emergency Response support to operations, ensuring technical excellence in areas such as welding, quality control, onboarding, and coaching. Strong mentoring and leadership will be a key part of your role, along with ensuring the competence, training, and development of all staff under your guidance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Quality Management, Project Management or related discipline.
- Diploma in NEBOSH Health and Safety Management.
- Environmental NEBOSH or IEMA Certification.
- Lead Auditor qualification by recognised industry body.
- Formal training in recognised root cause analysis techniques.
- Awareness of CDM Regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 19011 and standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 3834 and EN 1090 standards.
- Comprehensive understanding of PER/PED.
- Proficient in the analysis of processes and data.
- Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Mandatory offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical, etc.).
