The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Location: Sizewell C, site-based 5 days a week in Leiston, Suffolk (occasional weekend work will be required).

Contract: Permanent, full-time.

Salary: Competitive depending on experience, plus benefits.

About the Project: Sizewell C (SZC) is at the heart of the UK's clean energy revolution. This ground-breaking nuclear power plant project in Suffolk will play a vital role in delivering a sustainable future. What You'll Be Doing: As a Construction Manager, you'll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works. You'll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:

  • Team Leadership: Strategic Execution - helping the PM to develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
  • Project Oversight: Delivering new projects into Sizewell C with safety and quality at the forefront of our works.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery.

Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.

What We're Looking For: We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Industry Expertise: Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on projects and working within regulated environments.
  • Management Skills: Supervising Tier 1 contractors and team members.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.

Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable. SMSTS Required, CSCS site manager card required.
