We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Executive to join our Brand & Marketing team here at Hastings Direct. This is a great opportunity for a passionate Brand executive to get their hands dirty and lead the charge in building brand equity for our portfolio of brands through the planning, execution and analysis of our brand marketing activity.
On a day to day basis, you will find yourself working with internal stakeholders and external agencies to assist in the planning and execution of integrated brand marketing activity across paid, owned and earned media to deliver against our brand health and commercial targets. You will also monitor and report on our brand health and the impact of our communications activity, helping to identify trends and key insights to drive improvements to key brand metrics and the optimisation of our communications.
At a macro level, you will also act as brand guardian and provide support to the Brand Lead for all internal and external brand enquiries, including managing the use and approvals of our core brand codes, trademarks and IP in-line with our brand guidelines. On top of this, you will also assist with the operational side of things - raising purchase orders, reviewing invoices, managing budget trackers, maintaining agency relations, ad-hoc reporting etc.
Please note, this role is for an initial 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Essential skills/experience:
- Significant experience in a brand or marketing role, with a solid grasp of marketing strategy.
- Experience in planning, implementing, monitoring and measuring paid media activity.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and develop clear and convincing narratives.
- Analytical mindset with experience working with data and understanding complex analyses and associated methodologies.
- Experience with relationship management, particularly with external partners, both creative and data.
