ASA Recruitment is expanding its team of talented and experienced Care Assistants to become a crucial part of the Care Home network in Edinburgh. We seek individuals who prioritize residents' care, go the extra mile to ensure safety standards, and provide exceptional service within the care sector.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety and well-being.
- Build positive relationships through friendly conversation, companionship, and empathetic listening.
- Engage in recreational activities to promote mental and emotional health.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Document care provided and report any changes in condition to supervisors.
Requirements:
- UK Care experience
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- CV covering 10 years of work history
- PVG Update through ASA Registration with the SSSC
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and responsible with a strong work ethic
