Responsibilities: Greet patients, parents, and staff. Identify uninsured/underinsured patients and refer them for insurance coverage. Escort patients, record complaints, and prepare them for providers. Perform CLIA waived tests, set up operatory, and assist providers. Monitor and restock supplies, maintain logs, and ensure timely billing. Support communication within the clinical team, maintain universal precautions, participate in quality activities, serve as Safety Officer, and lead or participate in special projects. Meet regularly with management to discuss operational issues and create agendas for meetings. Qualifications: Required Skills and Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant course. Board Certification/Registration. Knowledge of EKG, phlebotomy, scheduling, medical testing, and computer skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills, team focus, leadership qualities. Current CPR and AED certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS/AED for Healthcare Providers). Preferred Skills: Experience with electronic health records. Two or more years as a Medical Assistant. Physical and Work Environment: Manual dexterity, ability to stand, walk, lift. Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
