The Paid Search Manager plays a critical role in activating & managing US Reckitt digital search campaigns in-platform. You will own the day-to-day management of paid search campaigns across all Reckitt Core brands - responsible for ensuring the correct campaign set-up, reviewing media performance, undertaking regular campaign optimizations & sharing performance recommendations.
The Applied Media Science (AMS) team works closely with both external partners & internal teams to ensure Reckitt's campaigns are activated with excellence in-platform. Reporting to the Digital Media Manager, you will work together on implementing best practice in-platform as well as supporting on media activation planning & activation tasks. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your responsibilities
- Campaign Planning Support: Support Digital Media Managers with competitive & keyword research. Complete audits & account/campaign restructures as required.
- Campaign Set-Up: Reviewing campaign QA/set-up aligns to the media plan instructions. Ensuring each campaign set-up adheres to in-platform best practices.
- In-Campaign Management: Oversee regular campaign optimizations in-platform to improve performance. Provide weekly optimization recommendations to local data analysts & recording key optimizations via the Optimization Logs. Regularly monitor campaign performance to ensure KPI/budgets are pacing to plan. Making budget/campaign adjustments in a timely manner in response to changes in-flight to media plan updates.
- Campaign Best Practice: Grow your in-platform knowledge across new features & optimization tactics. Stay up to date with the latest Search landscape & share important industry news. Work with media reps/partners to educate the wider team on new capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with all key stakeholders & functions internally including local marketing & brand teams - to support our goals & service delivery. Work closely with Data team & SEO team to integrate insight into search strategy.
The experience we’re looking for
- Experience working with Paid Search platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Amazon Search, Citrus Ads etc.
- Good understanding of Google Analytics tracking & measurement for Search.
- Hands-on experience & expert knowledge of paid search including bidding strategies, shopping feed optimisation, test & learn methods & account management.
- Proven track record of improving keyword quality scores & increasing return from advertising spend.
- Experience using project management tools (Jira, Monday.com etc).
- Worked in previous agency/publisher roles preferred.
