What You\’ll Bring: We’re looking for a Principal Database Engineer to join our growing team. Day to Day You’ll Be: Assume the Development Technical/Team manager role of scrum Write well-structured, maintainable code Work with Senior Developers and Architects to design new products or enhancements/changes to existing product. Ensure development is carried out to the department policy, procedures and technical/process standards. Involvement in Process Improvement Assist and supports junior colleagues as required. Provides technical consultancy and knowledge support to the wider business. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal teams to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible. Adheres to technical constraints laid out in Architecture Definition Essential Skills & Experience: The ability to motivate and inspire a team Solid commercial experience of programming, including C# and SQL. Experience creating distributed, service-based systems Experience of modern CI/CD practices and techniques Experience of automated testing and deployment Ideally been involved in the design of complex systems Have a curiosity for new technologies and techniques, and keep yourself up to date Communicate well, both with technical and non-technical staff Impact You\’ll Make: What’s In It For you?
