The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby would be the ideal locations.

Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives. With the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager oversees all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, sales planning, implementing activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans. The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to customers such as Spine Surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision makers, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise in the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote, demonstrate, and sell a range of spine products into NHS and private hospitals.
  • Achieve sales results aligned with monthly and annual targets and KPIs.
  • Sell and demonstrate medical equipment within theatre and clinical environments.
  • Conduct trials and evaluations to drive sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service during all activities related to customer acquisition.
  • Develop and implement an effective sales business plan independently.
  • Manage resources and materials, including consignment stock in hospitals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and decision-makers, including surgeons, theatre staff, hospital administration, and procurement.
  • Organize and conduct training workshops with surgical and theatre staff.
  • Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales and market conditions.
  • Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Ensure all activities comply with ethics and legal standards.
  • Liaise with other company functions to meet sales objectives.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
  • Perform other relevant duties as requested.

Qualifications and skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, decisiveness, ambition, self-motivation, adaptability, planning ability, discipline, organization, resilience under pressure, flexibility, mobility, business acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in medical device sales, especially in spine, orthopaedics, or operating theatre environments, is essential. A valid driving license is required for this field-based role.
