Children\’s Home Registered Manager Location: Oakhampton, Devon Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Lead the Future of Residential Childcare! We are looking for a passionate, experienced Children\’s Home Registered Manager to lead a transitional home for children moving from secure homes or unregulated provisions. About the Role: The home offers six flexible beds, with two integrated two-bedroom apartments and a main house with four beds. A small on-site school supports children\’s transition to mainstream education. You will lead a skilled team, including a Deputy Manager and administrative staff, to create a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management – Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards. Team Leadership – Inspire and develop a high-performing team. Child-Centred Care – Foster a safe, caring environment that prioritises each child\’s needs. Compliance & Safety – Oversee budgets, health and safety, and legal requirements. Continuous Improvement – Contribute to the strategic development of the service. What You\’ll Bring: Proven experience managing an Ofsted Registered Children\’s Home.
