Senior Associate – Financial Litigation – Bristol
Top 50 law firm and leading Bristol firm are seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their Financial Services Disputes and Investigations (FSDI) team, one of the largest in the UK. This highly ranked team handle complex, high-value financial disputes and litigation for leading financial institutions.
As part of this market-leading team, you\’ll work with major clients, including clearing banks, wealth banks, payment service providers, and digital banks, managing a varied caseload of contentious matters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading litigation cases, including banking disputes, professional negligence claims, fraud matters, and regulatory issues
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Engaging in business development, strengthening client relationships
Ideal candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered), ideally 4-8 PQE (applications outside this range are also considered)
- Strong experience in financial litigation, secured lending, property litigation, or commercial litigation
- Knowledge of CPR and the litigation process
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Commercially aware with business development exposure
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
