The Role

The Business Analyst – Transformation (12 Months FTC) will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for improvement, analysing and implementing changes that drive organisational transformation. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Using the appropriate methods of waterfall and Agile, work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals and transformation initiatives. Breakdown business strategy goals into deliverable business requirements.
  • Process Analysis: Analyse existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for transformation, working alongside the Project team.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to support decision-making and measure the impact of transformation initiatives. Drive analysis to identify the systems and process impacts arising from agreed business requirements and translate those requirements into systems functional/behavioural models (e.g. Use Cases, Screen Navigations etc.)
  • Solution Design: Develop and propose solutions to address business challenges, including process improvements, system enhancements, and new technology implementations.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing the change process, including communication, training, and support to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Project Management: Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business units, IT teams, and external partners.
  • Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user guides.
  • Testing and Validation: Support the testing and validation of new systems and processes to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver expected benefits.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and systems.

Skills and experience we are looking for

  • Proven experience as a successful Business Analyst, with a focus on transformation or change management.
  • Experience working on BSS and service provisioning projects
  • Experience working on complex IT projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with business process modelling and improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
