Next-Ventures are currently seeking a Radio performance and design engineer to join an exciting new roll out project in the UK on a long term project working for one of the largest global telecommunications companies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and coverage of radio access networks during the rollout and integration phases. The role involves the design, planning, and optimisation of radio network.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform radio network optimisation tasks such as tuning, capacity planning, and parameter adjustment to ensure network quality
- Work closely with the project team to support the integration and testing of new sites
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues related to radio performance, interference, coverage gaps, and handover failures
- Ensure that all sites meet the necessary quality standards before they are handed over to the operations team
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in radio network optimisation within a roll out or deployment project
- Experience with advanced optimisation techniques for 5G networks
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Ericsson is desirable
