Job Description: We are working on an exciting new role for a client manager to join the client governance team at a leading investment firm in Edinburgh. This is a varied position focusing on client services, overseeing third-party agents, managing their service levels, and involving in distribution support, project work, and process improvements. We are seeking applications from individuals with experience in an asset management or asset servicing firm, particularly in client services or overseeing transfer agents. Skills/Experience: Experience in distribution and customer relationship management within an asset management business, covering institutional clients and wholesale distribution across various product types (e.g., UCITS, OEIC, private and public markets). Ability to communicate process changes and collaborate across functions to support Client Governance objectives. Commitment to quality, timely outcomes, and achieving objectives. Team player willing to challenge and be challenged. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience from an asset management or asset servicing firm with a focus on client servicing. Understanding of the client experience in asset management/asset servicing and regulatory environments across jurisdictions. Core Responsibilities: Manage service levels and performance of transfer agents. Coordinate responses to client requests via email or internal teams. Resolve queries related to investor instructions and dealings. Stay informed of regulatory developments and update policies accordingly. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency. Communicate issues internally and escalate as needed. Participate in regulatory projects and initiatives, including evolving requirements like Consumer Duty.
