Coventry College is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English Lecturer who can inspire learners to achieve their full potential. Our lecturing staff are vital to the success of the College and student achievement. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality teaching, along with shared responsibility for administering a range of courses across various levels.

As a Lecturer in English, you should:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one
  • Hold a qualification in English (or equivalent)
  • Possess Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics
  • Provide evidence of ongoing professional development

You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience teaching English to diverse ethnic groups
  • Experience preparing students for English Skills for Life examinations
  • A passion for teaching with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • Ability to deliver functional skills within the relevant subject area
