Main Responsibility
As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
- Supporting the Practice Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the practice where required, helping develop efficient systems of management and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Promoting the development and maintenance of a quality learning environment throughout the practice.
- Deputising for the practice manager and being a member of the surgery team with the delegated responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the surgery.
- Ensuring the effective processing of all administrative work and appropriate liaison with the reception and administration team.
The Ideal Candidate
What we look for in new colleagues:
- NHS or GP Practice experience and previous use of System One is desirable.
- Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as being an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
- Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
- Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidentiality and data security.
- Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential.
