IKEA Reading are looking to welcome Warehouse Sales Assistants to their team. A sales co-worker at IKEA helps customers choose the right products, maintains the sales area, and collaborates with team members to ensure a great shopping experience.
WHAT WE OFFER
- The Start Date of employment will be: 3rd July 2025
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
- 20 hour contracts working 4 days per week includes 3 out of 4 weekends working between the hours of 08:00am until 22:00pm. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

- You are skilled at forward planning, can handle several tasks at once with ease, and take pleasure in being a team member as well as fulfilling responsibilities on your own.

- You take initiative, make well-informed choices, and consistently engage with your daily tasks.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
- You are constantly motivated by the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
- You support enhancing sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of various stock. Using pump trucks and trolleys to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
