Blue Legal are working exclusively with a leading regional law firm who are recruiting a Marketing Manager to join their office. The role will be based around the development of the overall marketing strategy and tactical plan for the firm in conjunction with Marketing partners and the CFO.
The Responsibilities:
- Work with department heads to create and execute annual marketing and BD plans, manage the marketing budget, and analyse market data for growth.
- Oversee strategic projects, ensuring alignment with firm goals and effective collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns, manage client database, and ensure follow-ups to build and maintain client relationships.
- Manage firm-wide advertising, organise marketing events, liaise with departments for content creation, and oversee sponsorships.
- Manage and update the firm’s website, oversee social media accounts, and collaborate on SEO/PPC strategies.
- Enhance media relationships, manage PR opportunities, and lead digital PR efforts, including maintaining firm reviews and handling media inquiries.
- Advise on pitch strategy, manage pitch documents, ensure brand consistency, and oversee directory submissions.
- Organise and attend client hospitality events, manage networking opportunities for fee earners, and represent the firm at hosted events.
The Candidate:
- 5 years in marketing/BD, with a strong understanding of professional services processes and experience in managing conflicting priorities in partner-led environments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to specific audiences.
- Proficient in MS Office and e-marketing, with experience in organising and hosting both in-person and virtual events.
