Lewisham Music are looking to recruitnew music tutors to join our team with the passion to inspire young people with a love of learning and making music, and are currently looking for the following specialisms: Whole class Samba tutor, also able to teach drum kit To teach a mixture of whole class samba and drum kit group teaching in schools. Whole class Djembe tutor To teach whole class djembe programmes in schools. Whole class Recorder tutor To teach whole class recorder programmes in schools. Whole class Ukulele tutor To teach whole class djembe programmes in schools. Cello tutor To teach group and individual lessons in mainstream and special schools. Vocal tutor To lead choirs within a primary school. Violin tutor To teach small groups in schools. Curriculum tutor Half day of maternity cover in a primary school for Autumn and Spring terms. Pay Attending Lewisham Music training starts from £16.01 (inc. holiday pay) per hour depending on qualifications. Individual and small-group tuitionstarts from £33.15 (inc. holiday pay) per hour depending on qualifications. Whole class and ensemble tuitionstarts from £34.82 (inc. holiday pay) per hour depending on qualifications. One-off projects and performances is £37.11 (inc. holiday pay) per hour. Curriculum teachingis £40.82 (inc. holiday pay) per hour. Please note that pay rates are reviewed every September. Contract type Permanent – Employed PAYE.
