Insignia Global Partners are delighted to be working with our Client, a specialist nursing home for the care of adults living with complex neurological conditions. This fantastic opportunity will cover 48 hours per week. If you are relocating, the Client may be able to support with accommodation for a period of one month.
Requirements For The Role
- At least two years of experience in complex Neuro care.
- Experience in caring for individuals of all ages, with skills in Tracheostomy, PEG feeding, etc.
- Strong leadership skills, able to hit the ground running with a high level of dedication and enthusiasm.
- Willingness to grow, learn, and contribute to the team.
- Must not require sponsorship (dependents are fine, as long as they don’t need their sponsorship changed).
About The Role
- Delivering high quality, evidence-based and patient focused clinical care through:
- Ensuring good standards of care for the Resident are maintained at all times.
- Adhering to NMC Code of Professional conduct at all times.
- Involving and supporting Residents, relatives, carers and friends in the care process.
- Observing a general duty of care for the health, safety and well-being of yourself, work colleagues, visitors and Residents within the Home.
- Ensuring the rules, policies, procedures and standards of the Home together with all relevant statutory and professional obligations are adhered to at all times.
- Maintaining Resident confidentiality, dignity and privacy at all times.
- Adhering to the Home’s policy on valuing equality and diversity and showing due regard for each Resident’s cultural and religious beliefs, gender, ethnicity, age and sexuality.
- Strictly adhering to the Home’s Infection Control Protocols, policies and procedures.
Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration.
- Understanding of NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
- Proficiency in dispensing and administrating oral medication.
- The ability of managing and prioritising conflicting workloads.
- Enthusiasm for and belief in patient healthcare.
