Position Overview The energy sector is rapidly evolving with increasing demand, regulatory changes, ambitious carbon reduction targets, and technological innovations. If you are passionate about making a difference, join our leading Energy team to drive change! We seek an experienced ECC (NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract) Project Manager to work on diverse projects across technical disciplines with clients nationwide. Projects may include HVDC, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, geotechnical solutions, building design, protection systems, LVAC, FEED, new builds, refurbishment, and connection schemes. Your Role Manage projects throughout their lifecycle from feasibility to closure. Report on project status, including commercial and programme updates. Manage internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. Oversee contract management and adhere to contract data. Handle time, quality, cost, and risk management. Raise change notices, compensation events, and early warnings promptly. Communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors. Promote health and safety standards. Candidate Profile You are proactive, with knowledge of the electricity transmission and distribution industry. You can coach team members and understand industry best practices, including innovative solutions. NEC4 ECC Project Manager accreditation. Experience managing projects similar to those listed. Willingness to travel as needed. Knowledge of National Grid\’s Transmission procedures and technical specifications is highly desirable. An understanding of Impressed Voltage effects is a plus.
