About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in Community Engagement to achieve a nationally recognised level 3 qualification. The apprenticeship is a fixed-term contract which will run for 2 years, and will combine on-the-job learning and online study. The role is Aylesbury based with some agile working, 37 hours per week with one day for study leave.

On the Job you will:

  • Provide daily support to the Community Engagement Team
  • Coordinate all resident and community engagement activity
  • Maintain close and regular contact with resident volunteers
  • Promote resident volunteering and engagement
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records on all resident engagement activity using our housing management system
  • Work closely with other teams
  • Work in an agile way to ensure visible presence in the community

About You

If you’re open minded, confident, compassionate and want to learn more about community engagement then we’d love to hear from you! You will ideally have skills and attributes that include: good communication, enjoy a challenging role, like meeting new people and are motivated to make a difference in the local community. The minimum qualifications required are 4 GCSEs at grade A* to D or equivalent including Mathematics and English.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
  • Have been a resident of the UK for at least the past three years, excluding any time period spent solely for the purposes of education.
