An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-respected and growing building services provider. Based on a prominent retail park in Reading, this is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As part of a large and collaborative on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, emergency response, and remedial works across the site. Key Responsibilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance
- Maintenance and repair of Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Pumps (including Bearings and Mechanical Seals)
- Water Treatment Systems (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc.)
- Chilled Water Systems
- Plumbing systems
- Sprinkler systems
- Pressurisation Units
- Generators
- Basic Building Management System (BMS) Operation
Requirements
- Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent
- Apprentice-trained (desirable)
- Previous experience in Building Services Maintenance
- Strong client-facing skills and professional attitude
Package
- Salary: £45,000 - £48,000
