We have teamed up with a leading facilities services provider who is looking to appoint an Electrical Bias Engineer for a permanent role based at a major commercial site in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and motivated engineer with strong electrical skills and a background in commercial maintenance. The role offers long-term stability, a structured shift pattern, and opportunities for development within a highly reputable and supportive team environment.

You will be responsible for delivering a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks, and small installations. While the focus is electrical, the position is multi-skilled, and you will also support mechanical and general building maintenance tasks.

Shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7:00am - 7:00pm) & Saturday, Sunday (7:00am - 5:00pm)
  • Week 2: Thursday, Friday (7:00am - 7:00pm)

Key Duties Include:

  • Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across all building systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, supporting other trades where needed
  • Completing installations and modifications as required
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to H&S standards and documented accordingly
  • Working with external contractors and managing materials procurement
  • Providing technical input for on-site projects and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or recognised apprenticeship
  • 18th Edition (current wiring regulations)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in commercial property or facilities maintenance

Desirable:

  • 2391-52 (Testing & Inspection) advantageous but not essential
