Job description
Vinothentic is an exceptionally busy wine business that has been serving restaurants, bars, hotels, clubs and wine shops for over 25 years. Our offices are based in Islington, London N1.
We are looking for a Junior Wine Sales executive who is ready to find and create new leads as well as help nurture existing clients. We are flexible employers who are open to working collaboratively and creating opportunities to grow.
We have excellent office and sales support and will provide your customers with a level of service that is unparalleled across the industry and breeds loyalty and trust, while giving you the tools to succeed.
You will be required to
- Develop your sales skills in a flexible and friendly environment while learning about the nuts and bolts of the on-trade wine business.
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
- Meet and exceed sales targets
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally you will have an interest in wine and some previous experience in sales with a desire to gain invaluable experience within the wine industry. Training will be provided. This is not a desk job and will require you to spend much of your time out and about meeting and nurturing clients as well as sourcing new leads.
You must enjoy meeting people and staying on top of a hectic schedule as well as being able to organise your appointments and following up every lead. Sales are challenging but rewarding with plenty of room to get involved in tastings and trainings and to learn along the way.
