DN Colleges Group is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join its Finance department. Due to an exciting time of expansion and growth for the group, a new opportunity is created to develop your career and contribute to DN College Group’s ongoing success. Successful candidates will be expected to travel between Doncaster College and North Lindsey College (Scunthorpe).

Developing and maintaining solid working relationships to assist budget holders in the preparation of forecasts and providing key information to assist in budget management. Supporting colleagues with finance related queries for both curriculum areas and support functions, providing a positive customer experience.

Partner with the business through producing financial reports, effective negotiation, and analysing complex information to reach robust conclusions. Providing detailed, high-quality financial information to enhance decision making, enabling delivery of strategic initiatives and improving financial performance.

The successful candidate will…

  • Be enthusiastic and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
  • Be proficient in managing multiple tasks & projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure – maintaining a key eye for detail.
  • Be educated to degree or AAT level with strong numerical skills.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of financial processes, excellent IT skills (Excel) and understand finance software.
  • Be self-motivated and analytical, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, and ideally have experience working within further education.
