Hybrid Working

Take ownership of £15-£20 million in annual spend and lead a growing procurement team within a forward-thinking environmental manufacturing business. We are looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to manage strategic procurement activity across our manufacturing and installation operations. You will be responsible for sourcing high-value materials and services, supplier management, cost optimisation, and driving continuous improvement. You will also line manage an Assistant Buyer and a Purchasing Administrator and play a key role in the integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage procurement of high-value materials, goods and services
  • Lead and develop two direct reports
  • Deliver cost savings, supplier performance, and risk management
  • Support Dynamics 365 implementation and procurement data accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet operational needs
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and maintain procurement documentation
What We Are Looking For:
  • 5+ years in a Senior Buyer, Buyer, Purchasing Manager or Supply Chain Manager role within manufacturing
  • Strong MRP knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • CIPS qualification is desirable
  • Proven negotiation, leadership and supplier management skills
  • Analytical, methodical and highly organised
