Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practises and ensuring the effective implementation of Scrum methodologies. This position is outside IR35 and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
– Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
– Act as a servant leader to the team, removing obstacles and enabling continuous improvement.
– Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined product backlog.
– Coach team members on Agile principles and practises to enhance their understanding and execution.
– Monitor and report on team performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
– Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team and with stakeholders.
– Identify areas for improvement and implement best practises to optimise team processes.
– Coordinate with other Scrum Masters to align project goals and share insights.
Qualifications
– Proven experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments.
– Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
– Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are preferred.
– Experience with project management tools and software.
– Knowledge of software development life cycle and testing processes is an advantage.
