Would you like to become an integral part of our successful Building Control team? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Building Control professional to join our supportive, modern, customer focused team, to ensure buildings are compliant and residents and visitors of the Borough are safe.
You will join our proactive customer focused Building Control team which has been involved in some exciting developments recently, and has several exciting projects to get involved with, including large housing developments and commercial projects across the borough. You will experience plenty of variety as you manage and progress a broad range of building control projects to effective completion.
In addition, you will help to grow our business by establishing and strengthening working relationships with architects, developers as well as other existing or potential clients.
We are looking for someone who has substantial and relevant experience in a similar role and who is a member of an appropriate body including RICS, CABE or CIOB. You will need to be able to display good customer service skills, using them to establish and maintain productive business relationships with customers and partners. You will need to be a registered building inspector with the Building Safety Regulator, minimum class 2 category A.
