Currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. The London Bridge Hospital in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf. With 160 beds, 22 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations. As an Advanced Physiotherapist you will have the skill and experience to manage an Oncology outpatient caseload, whilst supporting the Physiotherapy Lead with service development initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities: To be responsible for a full Oncology outpatient caseload, providing high quality physiotherapy care to patients across the London Bridge campus To provide comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment for each patient To plan and implement treatment using SMART goals To work to the highest standard to facilitate evidence based practice in line with local and national guidelines To contribute to the management of the department, audit, clinical governance and to maintain personal CPD. To lead with service development initiatives To work as an effective team member of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams and to participate in relevant MDT meetings To actively seek opportunities to develop strong communication lines and relationships with our Oncology and Haematology consultants.
